What?s the average age?
Some of our events are age specific, some are open to all ages.  Age ranges: 25 - 45, 40 - 65 or open to all ages 25 to 65.  We don't feel that age is an issue - what's important is the right attitude.  However, If there is a specific event you want to go on and you would like to know the average age range please feel free to call us. Whilst we advertise specific age range events we are not excluding members outside of these ages, we are merely suggesting that age range events are more preferable with our members.

The average age of our 'All age' events is mid - late forties, The average age of our 25 - 45 age range event is mid-late thirties. The average age of 40 - 65 is late forties/early fifites.

Do you match-make?  
No, we are not a dating agency; more of a database of single people that just want to meet others and do fun stuff together.  Having said this, meeting someone special is quite likely as you will be meeting like-minded individuals who are single just like you.  *See testimonials page

Why do I have to register my details?  We are members-led the more we know about you and what you like to do the easier it is for us to arrange events that you are truly interested in.  Plus we can let you know what events are happening and notify you of any special offfers. We will not pass your details on to any other organisations unless you wish us to do so - Data Protection Act 1998

What happens if I like someone?
We hope you will like all our members! however if there is someone in partcular you are  interested in just let us know - we will contact them on your behalf and pass on your details.

What happens after the event?
We will contact you within three days of the event to see how it went.  We love feedback so please be honest.

Can I be added to your mailing list?
Of course, we will keep you updated about all our events as well as other single events happening in the local area that you may be interested in.

What do you do with my personal data?
We adhere to the Data Protection Act 1998 which assures you that your information is stored correctly, deleted if no longer required and not passed on to other parties unless you have asked us to do so.

Is it safe?
Definitely a lot safer than meeting a stranger in a bar!  We securely hold members contact details on our database.

I?m shy can I bring a friend along to an event?
If they are single then absolutely.  If, they are already spoken for then just give us a call as each event will vary.

Where do I go when I arrive at the venue?
Each venue will vary, the best thing to do is to look out for one of the hosts - see Hosts page!  If you are booked on one of our 'walking' events or 'boat trips' full joining details will be sent to you prior to the event.

Cancel a booking?
If sadly you have to cancel a booking please either email us or call us. If you have to cancel the event on the actual day please call us as we could be waiting for you to arrive. *See Terms and Conditions for cancellation policy.
