Our hosts have been carefully chosen - they are friendly, approachable, reliable, professional and most importantly understand how nervous you may feel when you come on your first event.
Their top priority is to make you feel relaxed - they will introduce you to your fellow minglers and are there to make sure the event runs smoothly.

Having lived in Bournemouth most of my life, I am aware of the social scene, both ancient and modern. I have worked with Nicky at STM for some time now, and enjoy hosting a variety of events. My aim is to ensure you have a great time, and make lots of new friends.

I started going to STM almost from its beginning. Not knowing many people in Bournemouth after moving here from living in France, I found working in Southampton meant I didn't get to know people locally, so I joined up. It?s been great and from the first event I have met some lovely people.
I look forward to meeting more people and hope that I can make them feel as welcome as I was made to feel.

I am Steve - a Dorset boy through and through. I am self-employed, work outside and love what I do. I have been a member a while now and thought I'd give hosting a go - it's going to be a great experience!
I know how it's like to go to new places and people don't talk to you; this is not the case at STM.

It is unlikely I will be hosting events from now on as I am a new Mum and needed at home!
Our Hosts are great fun, they are friendly and welcoming. We assign hosts to each event every month so keep an eye out on your chosen event for updated details of the host who will be hosting your selected event.

Andy - Jurassic Jaunts
I started Jurassic Jaunts as I am a keen walker and spend a lot of my time walking on the Coast paths with its stunning scenery. I have been guiding walks for STM for over a year now and the walks are very popular. I look forward to meeting you on a walk soon.
