Their top priority is to make you feel relaxed - they will introduce you to your fellow minglers and are there to make sure the event runs smoothly.

Hi everyone, my name is Gail I’m a Scottish lass but have lived in Bournemouth for 21 years. I moved south after I married an English man but found myself single again a couple of years ago. I joined STM to give myself some "ME" time, a bit of a social life!! Its a great way to meet new people and I am looking forward to meeting all of you .

Hello there!
I’ve returned to Bournemouth after years in London. That meant I had no friends here, or a social life. I know how difficult it is to meet other Singles, not feeling comfortable going to bars and clubs on my own. Since I discovered STM, I’ve had no excuse to sit at home. I’ve felt welcome and made friends at every event I’ve been to. STM are friendly and well-organized and there is something for everyone. Hi, I've been down on the south coast for just over a year now from London.
Being from Canada originally, I prefer the outdoors to the big city, it’s amazing how many things there are to do and see here, especially all the sailing and biking activities. To me, being part of STM is a great way to meet lots of interesting people, make new friends and do lots of fun things, I might not otherwise had the chance to try on my own. So join me on one of the upcoming events and let’s have a blast!

Having grown up in the town, I am very aware of the local social seen, both ancient and modern! Are you finding the novelty of being the only single person with all you coupled up friends wearing thin? There are no Gooseberries at STM.

I started going to STM almost from its beginning. Not knowing many people in Bournemouth after moving here from living in France, I found working in Southampton meant I didn't get to know people locally, so I joined up. It’s been great and from the first event I have met some lovely people.
