The age range of our members is anything from mid 30's to early 60's, so we actually cover a very wide age range! However, we tend to not to focus too specifically on age ranges as we believe it's the member’s attitude that is important rather than their age.

No, we are not a dating agency; more of a database of single people who just want to meet others, do fun stuff together and have a great social life.

We are members-led, so the more we know about you and what you like to do, the easier it is for us to arrange events that you are really interested in. We are always happy for you to come along and try out an event on a one-off basis as a non-member before joining, and we have a ‘non-members’ price for each event for this reason. If you become a member you get:

• Free subscription to our regular newsletter with details of what’s coming up next, special offers and some other hilarious news and features.
• Members discounted price for all events.
• Membership of our private Facebook group enabling you to easily contact other members to arrange shared lifts and other arrangements. There are also some extra special offers on there from time to time too…

We would normally expect you to join if deciding to book a further event after your first trial one – if you enjoyed it that much – why wouldn’t you?

We hope you will like everyone you meet at our events, but if there is someone you become particularly interested in getting in touch with, just let us know and we will contact them on your behalf and pass on your details.

We love feedback so please let us know what you think about any event you have been to. We will usually send out a feedback form with the event details beforehand and if you’d like to send that back, we read all comments and always act on them if we can.

We are pleased to keep you updated about all our events in the local area that you may be interested in, so of course, you can subscribe to our mailing list without joining – just click on the ‘subscribe’ link on the latest newsletter on the site - but remember you won’t be able to use the special offers or the member’s booking prices.

We adhere to the Data Protection Act 1998 which assures you that your information is stored correctly, deleted if no longer required and not passed on to other parties unless you have asked us to do so. 

You are meeting real people, face to face, in an organised environment, with one or more trained hosts to help the whole event be enjoyable. Definitely a lot safer than meeting a stranger in a bar or through an internet dating site!

We also securely hold members contact details on our database and have strict terms of conduct.

If they are single, then absolutely! We do understand how daunting it can be, but if you decide to come along on your own, we have hosts at every event who will be delighted to meet you on arrival, introduce you to everyone and join in with the fun with you along the way too. We always send out full meeting arrangements beforehand and there is always a host to meet you on arrival.

If sadly you have to cancel a booking please either email us or call us as soon as you know. If you have to cancel the event on the actual day please call us as we could be waiting for you to arrive. For some events where tickets are purchased, catering numbers confirmed or venues booked or boats etc chartered, once a place has been booked, bookings can only be refunded if the place can be re-sold before the booking deadline. We will always try to be as flexible as possible with you though. Please make sure you read our Terms and Conditions fully for the cancellation policy.
